Position Overview
Pierson Ferdinand is seeking a Marketing Coordinator with prior law firm experience to support firmwide marketing, communications, and business development initiatives. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for a marketing professional who understands law firm culture, partner dynamics, and the importance of brand governance and compliance. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the CMO and interface regularly with partners, internal stakeholders, and external vendors. The role requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing, Content & Social Media
- Coordinate execution of the firm’s social media presence (primarily LinkedIn), including content coordination, scheduling, publishing, and basic performance tracking
- Draft, edit, and manage marketing content across the website, client alerts, internal communications, and marketing collateral
- Maintain content calendars and coordinate review and approval processes
Website & Intranet
- Support updates to the firm’s website, including attorney biographies, practice descriptions, and related content
- Manage and refresh intranet content to ensure materials are current, organized, and accessible
- Coordinate with internal and external resources on larger content updates
Pitches, Proposals & Presentations
- Support pitch, proposal, and RFP efforts, including drafting, editing, formatting, and assembling materials
- Create and update firm-branded PowerPoint presentations for client pitches, practice groups, partner presentations, and internal use
- Maintain pitch materials, experience content, and reusable templates
Brand, Compliance & Coordination
- Help ensure consistent use of firm brand standards and marketing approval processes across all channels, and support adherence to firm policies
- Interface directly with partners and liaise with external vendors (PR, design, web)
- Support special projects and provide coverage during peak periods as priorities shift

Requirements
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 2–5 years of marketing experience in a law firm environment (required)
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint; strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Comfortable working directly with law firm partners and senior professionals
- High level of professionalism, judgment, and discretion
- Ability to work independently and reliably in a fully remote environment
Preferred
- Experience with website platforms and intranet tools
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools and basic analytics
- Experience supporting pitch/RFP processes for a law firm
- Experience coordinating with external vendors (PR, design, web)
- Working knowledge of law firm brand governance and compliance standards
Compensation and benefits for this remote marketing position:
- Base pay range: $60,000-$80,000 USD per year
- Other compensation: This role is eligible for a performance-based discretionary bonus.
