Job Description
The Customer Success Manager (CSM), Smartmail Marketing (SMM) is responsible for Canada Post’s (CPC) larger enterprise, strategic and important customers. They have full accountability for the Direct Marketing (DM) budget and growth as well as joint accountability for delivery of the overall account budget (base revenue & new and incremental growth). Responsible for establishing and maintaining a trusted advisor relationship with customers that results in overall customer satisfaction, product adoption, and product retention. Acts as a relationship manager to the customer and continuously advocates for the customer’s interest within Canada Post. Works to grow influence and partner with external influencers such as Media Agencies, Advertising Agencies, and Print and Data partners. Ensures that Canada Post’s solutions, products and services are considered and included in the development of the customer’s marketing spend (e.g. print, broadcast, radio and digital). Creates, develops, and closes all marketing opportunities, while providing the customer solutions that leverage the breadth of Canada Post’s products and services.
Job Responsibilities
Below are the main job requirements and responsibilities for the Customer Success Manager, Smartmail Marketing.
1. Strategically plans and manages the DM line-of-business growth within their assigned customer base. Facilitates and participates in joint strategic planning with customers to share short and long-term marketing goals and success indicators. Works to achieve agreed revenue and growth targets across the assigned list of customers and territory.
2. Ensures the adoption and usage of Canada Post products and services across the customer’s organization and proactively monitors and forecasts volume and revenue growth that has been identified for the customer. Develops and executes growth plans with assigned customers to expand the consumption of existing offerings and demand for new offerings.
3. Builds deep, positive relationships with customer leads as well as their teams and works to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Acts as the interface between the customer and Canada Post and continuously advocates for the customer’s needs across the corporation while providing feedback to Canada Post’s internal teams on how to serve the customer better.
4. Identifies growth opportunities and accelerates the adoption of new solutions by helping prioritize projects and supports activities that deliver the best return on the customer’s investment within the shortest timeframe. Acts as a resource for direct marketing to the customer, using their strategic capabilities and experience.
5. Ensures growth in revenue within the customers’ business and across the assigned territory from SMM sales by managing strategic relationships with customers and influencers across their organizations, to drive product adoption and maximize customer retention by ensuring that Canada Post’s SMM products and services meet their business needs.
6. Gains an in-depth, thorough understanding of the customers’ business needs and provides advice, consultation and recommendations to customers' senior management regarding SMM solutions that address their marketing and business requirements. Establishes credibility with customer's executive and key influencers across the customer’s internal and external organization.

7. Develops and employs appropriate competitive sales strategies, and continually modifies these strategies to meet changing business, industry, and customer circumstances. Maintains the customer’s success scorecard and ensure all assigned metrics are met in a timely fashion. Represents the voice of the customer to inform CPC’s sales process or product roadmap.
8. Conducts customer business reviews as well as customer and industry education sessions on the potential for SMM within organizations and provides thought leadership and regular updates for key influencers to keep them current on the changing advertising and media marketplace.
9. Maintains and grows existing customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and extensive multi-level internal liaison, to optimize opportunities, quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction. Identifies and escalates potential SMM solution expansion opportunities to SMM product team.
10. Develops and executes strategy for new or renewal of customer contracts. Where applicable, works collaboratively with internal stakeholders and manages customized business cases through to approvals. Develops and delivers compelling proposals, executive briefing documents etc. that have been written in a clear and concise manner easy for audience to understand. Leads the negotiation with customers and ensures customer satisfaction is met or exceeded while manging business optimization.
11. Secures corporate resources to support sales plans and achieve SMM growth objectives. Implements competitive displacement strategies by capitalizing on industry knowledge, experience and relationships and professionally leveraging that with the customer leadership base.
12. Supports Canada Post’s marketing and product departments, and management through their insight and experience with the development of new products, promotion strategies, and activities for SMM.

Description de l'emploi
Le gestionnaire, Réussite clients, Marketing Intelliposte est responsable des plus grandes entreprises clientes, stratégiques et importantes de la Société. Il a l’entière responsabilité du budget et de la croissance du marketing direct, ainsi que la responsabilité conjointe de l’exécution des attentes relatives à l’ensemble du budget du compte (revenus de base, et nouvelles occasions d’affaires et croissance supplémentaire). Il doit être le conseiller de confiance des clients afin d’assurer leur satisfaction globale, l’adoption des produits et la fidélisation relativement à ces produits. Il agit à titre de gestionnaire des relations avec le client et défend continuellement ses intérêts auprès de Postes Canada. Il se charge d’influencer et d’établir un partenariat avec les groupes d’influence externes comme les agences média, les agences de publicité et les partenaires en impression et les données. Il s’assure que les solutions, produits et services de Postes Canada sont pris en compte et inclus dans l’élaboration des dépenses liées au marketing et à la publicité du client (p. ex., presse écrite, télédiffusion, radio et numérique). Il crée, met au point et saisit toutes les occasions de marketing, tout en offrant aux clients des solutions qui tirent parti de la gamme de produits et services de Postes Canada.
Responsabilités professionnelles
Voici les principales exigences et responsabilités liées au poste de gestionnaire, Réussite clients, Marketing Intelliposte:
1. Planifie et gère de manière stratégique la croissance du secteur d’activité du marketing direct (MD) dans sa base de clients attribués. Facilite la planification stratégique conjointe avec les clients, et y participe, afin de partager les objectifs du marketing à court et à long terme, ainsi que les indicateurs de succès. Travaille à atteindre les objectifs convenus en matière de revenus et de croissance pour l’ensemble de la liste de clients et du territoire.
2. Veille à l’adoption et à l’utilisation des produits et services de Postes Canada dans l’ensemble de l’organisation du client et assure, en amont, un suivi et des prévisions relativement à la croissance des volumes et des revenus qui a été repérée pour le client. Développe et met en œuvre des plans de croissance avec les clients désignés afin d’accroître l’utilisation des offres existantes et la demande pour de nouvelles offres.
3. Établit des relations solides et positives avec les clients potentiels ainsi qu’avec leurs équipes et travaille à maintenir des niveaux élevés de satisfaction de la clientèle. Agit à titre d’intermédiaire entre le client et Postes Canada et défend continuellement les intérêts du client à l’échelle de la Société tout en fournissant des commentaires aux équipes internes de Postes Canada sur la façon de mieux servir le client.
4. Repère les occasions de croissance et accélère l’adoption de nouvelles solutions en aidant à établir l’ordre de priorité des projets et en appuyant les activités qui offrent le meilleur rendement sur l’investissement du client dans les délais les plus courts.Agit à titre de personne-ressource pour le marketing direct pour ses clients à l’aide de ses capacités et de son expérience stratégiques.
5. Assure la croissance des revenus au sein de l’entreprise des clients et dans l’ensemble du territoire attribué par l’équipe des ventes Marketing Intelliposte en gérant les relations stratégiques avec les clients et les groupes d’influence au sein de leur organisation, de sorte à favoriser l’adoption des produits et la fidélisation de la clientèle en veillant à ce que les produits et services Marketing Intelliposte de Postes Canada répondent à leurs besoins commerciaux.
6. Acquiert une compréhension approfondie et exhaustive des besoins commerciaux des clients et fournit des conseils et des recommandations à leur haute direction quant aux solutions Marketing Intelliposte qui répondent à leurs exigences commerciales ou en matière de marketing. Établit une crédibilité avec les cadres et les principaux groupes d’influence du client, tant à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur de son organisation.

7. Met au point et applique des stratégies de vente concurrentielles appropriées, et les modifie sans cesse pour répondre aux circonstances en évolution, qu’il s’agisse des circonstances commerciales, du secteur d’activité ou du client. Tient à jour la fiche de pointage du client et s’assure que toutes les mesures attribuées sont respectées en temps opportun. Représente la voix du client pour inspirer le procédé de vente ou la feuille de route du produit de la SCP.
8. Mène des évaluations des activités des clients et tient des séances de formation destinées aux clients et au secteur d’activité consacrées au potentiel du Marketing Intelliposte dans des organisations et fournit un leadership éclairé et des mises à jour régulières à l’intention des principaux groupes d’influence pour les tenir au courant de l’évolution du marché de la publicité et des médias.
9. Maintient et développe le bassin de clients existants grâce à des propositions appropriées et des méthodes de vente éthiques, et à une liaison interne d’envergure à plusieurs niveaux afin d’optimiser les occasions, la qualité de service, la croissance commerciale et la satisfaction des clients. Repère les occasions d’expansion des solutions Marketing Intelliposte et les achemine à l’équipe des produits Marketing Intelliposte.
10. Élabore et met en œuvre une stratégie pour les nouveaux contrats ou le renouvellement des contrats des clients. S’il y a lieu, collabore avec les parties prenantes internes et gère les analyses de rentabilisation personnalisées jusqu’aux approbations. Élabore et fournit des propositions convaincantes, des documents d’information à l’intention des cadres supérieurs, etc., qui ont été rédigés de façon claire, concise et facile à comprendre. Négocie avec les clients et s’assure que l’exigence de satisfaction de la clientèle est atteinte ou dépassée tout en gérant l’optimisation des activités.
11. Mobilise les ressources nécessaires de la Société afin d’appuyer les plans de vente et d’atteindre les objectifs de croissance du secteur Marketing Intelliposte. Met en œuvre des stratégies de déplacement concurrentielles en misant sur les connaissances, l’expérience et les relations sectorielles et en tirant profit de ces éléments de façon professionnelle avec le leadership du client.
12. Appuie les services responsables des produits et du marketing de Postes Canada, ainsi que la direction, grâce à ses connaissances et à son expérience dans la mise en œuvre d’activités, de stratégies de promotion et de nouveaux produits relatifs au Marketing Intelliposte.

Qualifications
Education
Degree in Administration/Commerce/Marketing OR equivalent education and/or experience
Experience
A minimum of 5 years of significant and relevant sales/consulting experience in marketing or media (particularly print).
Experience leading large, strategic projects involving cross functional groups (project management skills would be a strong asset).
Enthusiastic and creative with the ability to inspire, influence and encourage others, in both relationships with customers and peers.
Experience navigating customer organizational structures, defining milestones, success criteria, resource allocation, and on-time delivery.
Experience successfully managing customer success scorecards and achieving defined metrics.
Experience in selling marketing solutions (physical and digital) to customers leveraging successful solution selling techniques.
Experience working with customers on defining target audiences as well as providing pre and post campaign analytics.
Extensive experience working with CRM systems.
